CONTACT LENSES

 

If you are after a different look, we have many contact lens products. As an Independent practice, we only deal with contact lens manufacturers who provide the best optical and health options. We can also supply coloured and cosmetic contact lenses for those who wish to alter the appearance of their eyes.
Trying contact lenses is very simple. Book an appointment and we will examine the health of your eyes, the optical correction and your personal requirements to determine the best contact lens for you. You may require more than one consultation so we can give you the best possible solution.

 

DAILY DISPOSABLE LENSES

This option offers the greatest convenience and comfort without compromising the health of the eyes. These lenses are to be disposed of after one use. This means you are always using a fresh clean lens improving the hygiene and comfort aspects of wearing contact lenses.
These are great if you only wear contact lenses for occasional use like a night out with friends or for sports. We would also recommend these contact lenses if you have allergies, or are a frequent traveler.

 

2 WEEKLY AND MONTHLY DISPOSABLE LENSES

These lenses are a popular option for those who wear lenses more then spectacles. They are to be disposed of after either 14 or 30 days, and have to be cleaned on a daily basis with specific contact lens solution recommended by the Optometrist.
There is also a greater range of optical correction compared with daily disposables, which means some patients with specific needs will benefit more from monthly lenses.

 

CONVENTIONAL SOFT CONTACT LENSES

These are the lenses of choice where a more specialised optical correction is required. Each lens design is unique, and certain lenses are available where the wearing schedule is longer than 30 days.

 

GAS PERMEABLE LENSES

Unlike the soft lens, the materials used in these lenses are of a rigid design.
These lenses may take a little more time to adjust, but will offer superior optical and health benefits and be comfortable to the wearer.
